Ralf Cassidy Bindels started his musical career and entered the world of Rock and Pop in the late 80s as a member of XY. XY’s video for their debut single was video of the month on Germany’s Music TV channel. Several European and U.S. Tours followed including shows in Barcelona, Miami, San Francisco and New York.

XY opened for Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band at the West Palm Beach Polo Stadium and was headliner to re-open the legendary Fillmore South Theatre in Miami Beach/Fl.

At the same time Ralf started to develop his interest and talents on the production side of  music. He became part of Nine O’ Nine, a production team which included Carlos Peron of Yello and Jose’ Alvarez Brill. Nine O’ Nine had several CD and Video releases.

With Alvarez Brill (De-Vision, Rammstein, Alphaville) Ralf has remixed the music of Moby and Depeche Mode and produced the dance project Touchdown.

Their debut single “I hear music” became an instant dance hit in 1994 and reached No.2 of the European Dance Charts.

The Searchers, Bad Boys Blue, Terry Davies, Sergio Dalma, Sherman Brothers, Bonnie Bianco, Los Haranas, The Winners and Wolfsheim are some other European and US performers Cassidy Bindels has worked with.
